Job Description
The Global FIEH Operational Risk Manager's primary function is to ensure operational risks are fully understood, adequately measured and proactively managed by the FIEH Middle Office. The role is responsible for driving the overall control agenda and covers EMEA and NA.
The role requires establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with Finance, Business Managers, Technology, Front Office, Market Risk, Compliance, Audit and Information Risk Management.
 
Core responsibilities:

    * Leading the Control Self Assessment (CSA) process
    * Action plan tracking
    * Targeted control reviews as required
    * Ownership and delivery of the SOX agenda - support IB wide programme and ensure requirements are met
    * Error review and follow-up, root cause analysis
    * Monitoring the Key Risk Indicators including weekly capacity and operations metrics, monthly Business Control Committee (BCC) and Operational Risk Committee (ORC) metrics
    * Maintaining and developing audit relationships (internal and external)
    * Monitoring of projects and advising where necessary

    * Good understanding of key operational controls/reconciliations along the transaction lifecycle
