Description Project Manager - Risk Management Our Wholesale Banking Risk Management group consists of a small number of banking, audit, finance, and technology professionals. Our purpose is to assist U.S. Bank's Wholesale Banking business units with regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and strategic project management activities. We currently need an experienced project management professional to help implement new product capabilities. The candidate will be tasked with not only managing and monitoring the key deliverables within the project planning process, but also with pro-actively identifying opportunities for enhancements, and synergies between the affected work streams, that result in improved regulatory compliance and operational risk management capabilities and efficiencies. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Manage the Business Change Risk Assessment process for Wholesale Banking working directly with each business unit sponsoring a new product to understand the project's objectives. -Build and maintain the implementation project plan, serving as the liaison between the business unit and the various project work stream owners in legal, compliance, operations, enterprise risk management, properties, treasury, credit administration, technology, internal audit, etc. -Prepare project status reports, identify issues and risks, and maintain project documentation. -Facilitate project planning meetings and provide progress updates to senior management. -Assist in the completion of various pre or post implementation initiatives, as required by internal audit or other risk management oversight groups. Basic Qualifications - Master's degree or equivalent - Ten or more years of related experience - At least five years of experience with project planning/tracking tools such as MS Project (or equivalent) - Demonstrated strong management, leadership and organization skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills . Preferred Skills/Experience - Experience in the Financial Services industry - At least one related professional certification (PMI, etc.) - Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously - Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
