Job Description
Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
 
Currently, Infrastructure Software Services (ISS) provides application development and support for key infrastructure tools used by GTI and in some cases across the firm.  ISS is currently changing how it works to improve client interaction and service effectiveness.  The Risk & Security Management Lead Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of applications and will drive improvements by working with the business and architecture function to define a clear business strategy, technical strategy and application roadmap that meets the current and future business needs.  In addition, this role will ensure that consistent standards, tools, processes and methodologies are used to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
 
Core Responsibilities:
 

    * Manages highly visible and complex programs while overseeing multiple projects at an enterprise level.
    * Defines and executes global application architecture and strategy, in conjunction with the GTI and key LOB stakeholders, to support business needs of application portfolio.
    * Develop and execute multi-year roadmap to achieve strategic vision.
    * Manages software development lifecycle including infrastructure and architecture design, application design, prioritization and applications development.
    * Utilizes enabling technologies that provides business value, and increases efficiency and effectiveness.
    * Provides high quality, cost effective services to clients.
    * Oversees the business information systems activities while balancing technical and operational needs with financial control and communication needs.
    * Coordinates with managers in other locations to ensure quality deliverables, expectations and objectives are met.
    * Develops and implements integrated IT solutions, assessed by benefit, risks and costs, that support business strategies

 
Product Leadership & Strategy:
 

    * Analyzes new emerging technologies and translates implications of the new technology into an effective IT vision and strategy.
    * Keeps up to data on business trends and technology and anticipates forthcoming business changes.
    * Leads and influences the development of standards and decisions regarding changes to systems/ applications, and provides technical and business leadership and vision.
    * Collaborates with other Technology leaders across ISS to assess current capabilities against the ISS vision and develops plans to close gaps.

 
Strong Business Partnership:
 

    * Builds and maintains high profile as a technology leader both inside and outside of the firm.
    * Establishes and maintains working relationship with all groups across GTI.
    * Negotiates complex contracts and manages vendor relationships to maximize value to the business.
    * Collaborates closely with clients in strategic planning and shares accountability with them for benefit realization.

 
Continuous Improvement:
 

    * Devises and implements continuous improvement initiatives to deliver quality and performance improvement benefits to established and new services.
    * Proactively supports knowledge sharing within the Organizational Leadership team and across GTI.
    * Business Process Improvement mindset.

 
Finance Management:
 

    * Develops and maintains budgets, costs and resources for the team globally.
    * Assists with strategic financial decisions regarding investment in capital and resources.
    * Assists in the assessment of benefit, risks and costs for the portfolio management of technology assets

 
People Management:
 

    * Forecasts hiring and training needs. Ensures the adequate levels of people resources are available to meet business needs and financial parameters, balancing use of contractors and employees to meet varying skill and client requirements.
    * Supervises multiple project managers or junior integrators in business and technical analysis, and serves as the subject matter expert.
    * Provides mentoring and leadership to the organization, client, and junior members of the organization, as well as serving as a role model for the enterprise.
    * Promotes teamwork, both within own group and across GTI.

 
Qualifications

    * 15+ years of experience leading enterprise scale application and infrastructure projects.
    *  8 + years of experience leading multiple large programs with a proven knowledge of Risk & Security management.
    *  Stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to interact with senior levels of management.
    *  Demonstrated ability to lead and execute on cross-organization initiatives.
    *  Requires leadership experience in managing large global cross-functional teams and the flexibility to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally.
    *  Requires extensive experience driving and delivering programs focused on changing the way an organization works.
    *  Experience in the Risk & Security domain preferred.
    *  Ability to manage and execute through influence in addition to management through direct line accountability and operate effectively in a matrix organization.
    *  A collaborative style and ability to build the appropriate relationships and partnerships across the firm.
    *  Effective leader and organization builder who creates a pool of world class talent.
    *  Ability to exercise initiative, problem identification, problem solving and independent decision making.
