Job Description
Responsible for coordination of Business Resiliency (BR) efforts and execution of general support services for the Operations Control Management (OCM) group to ensure that the following objectives are met:
· Key milestones of the 2010 BR Program are met or exceeded.
· Core OCM responsibilities are achieved, including: Control package preparation, tracking tool development and maintenance, Global Incident Management reporting and Event Memo updates using Enterprise wide databases or online systems, as appropriate.
· Ownership of Global Health Check reporting and Event analysis across multiple product areas.
The Analyst / Supervisor must have excellent analytical skills, writing skills, grammar and syntax. Work requires ability to stay with long-term projects, ability to understand products, how they work and how they relate to the business from a risk and control perspective. Work requires ability to meet deliverables in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Position Reports directly to AVP-Operations Control Management
Provides project management and coordination of BR efforts, Operational Control reviews and key control event reporting, which includes general support services for the OCM group.
1. Assist with Resiliency Plan updates and other major compliance objectives, BR initiatives and test planning. 2. Performs global daily health check reporting and provides summary analyses of significant events 3. Prepare OCM scheduled control reviews, Global error event reporting, control package preparation and ad hoc requests, as needed. 4. Support OCM team in its ability to execute various projects and reviews through preparation of analysis and reviews. 5. Presentations - requires the ability to format and present material in a clear, concise electronic format for delivery to external and internal audiences. 6. Resiliency Plan documentation and manuals - requires understanding of technical writing standards, the ability to organize content in understandable units and standard formats; and, 7. Completes work in a timely manner with attention to deadlines. 8. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications Qaulifications:
* Three to five year experience in financial services (investment management) industry, preferably audit, compliance, information technology, business continuity, or risk management focus * B.S. in Business * Solid track record of financial services experience * Knowledge of Investment management operations * Sound understanding of business resiliency, IT risk, business continuity, and / or disaster recovery management * Ability to show initiative to support enterprise wide efforts * Strong analytical and communication skills. Flexible and creative thinker * Strong organizational, interpersonal and management skills. Ability to effectively present verbal and written communications in a clear and concise manner.
