Description
Responsible for risk analyses (counterparty credit, trading and business) and related reporting that informs and supports decisions for Treasury and the CFO. Supports the implementation of risk analytics for Basel II regulatory capital, pricing models and other purposes. Manages a team of analysts, market risk oversight through the Market Risk Committee, facilitates the internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process through the Economic Capital Committee, develops and provides technical support for various business line pricing tools, FTP related analytics and ad hoc analyses, and educates corporate and business line managers on risk-based decision-making and performance measures.

Basic Qualifications - Master's or PhD degree in quantitative, finance or financial risk management disciplines - Eight or more years of relevant financial risk management, quantitative analsysis or development role for financial services company - Three or more years of management experience (including leading multidisciplinary development teams)
Preferred Skills/Experience - Advanced experience with MS Excel and database languages (e.g., SQL) - General knowledge of economic capital concepts, Value at Risk, operational, market and counterparty risk models - Demonstrated project management capabilities in leading complex technical projects to successful completion - General finance and accounting knowledge - Hands-on experience developing risk and pricing models - Strong analytical and financial analysis skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities - Strong leadership and managerial skills - Ability to build strong relationships with peers, line of business managers and colleagues - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to find appropriate technical solutions w/multiple constraints and develop consensus
