Job Description
As a Risk Operations Analyst, you are responsible for reviewing and analyzing new Chase Checking/Savings accounts to confirm the validity of the applicant and activity, and taking the appropriate actions on accounts with potential risk to the company. Your duties will include answering incoming calls from both Chase branches and customers, tracking statistical information, requesting various documents to determine the validity of the customer as well as, making customer follow-up calls.
 

·         Must be able to learn how to access and use multiple operating systems efficiently.

·         Enjoys delivering exceptional customer service with the ability to handle irate or adverse customers.

·         Must be able to work successfully under tight time constraints and have the ability to make approval or decline decisions for customer checks based on the provided information.

·         Must be highly motivated, organized and attentive to details.

·         Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, able to multi task and have the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.

·         Must have prior banking center and customer service experience with a good understanding of the flow of bank documents, customer transactions and account history.
 
Qualifications

    * At least one year of experience in Operations, Retail and/or Deposit Risk Management or comparable function
    * Knowledge of deposit systems and customer information systems
    * Must possess a strong understanding of business transactions, knowledge of account flow, and financial documents
    * Ability to use mainframe and PC applications such as B1B applications, Vector, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office applications; MS Word and Excel experience required, other MS applications experience preferred
    * Ability to key data at 30 WPM
    * Experience working with Access, Excel and Word software.
    * Must have an intermediate proficiency in answering customer inquiries and providing information
